Wilaya of Auserd, April 10, 2026 (SPS) – The Prime Minister, member of the National Secretariat, Mr. Bouchraya Hammoudi Bayoun, received the Russian delegation participating in the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Republic.
The Prime Minister provided a brief overview of the latest developments in the Western Sahara conflict, affirming the Polisario Front’s readiness to engage in negotiations aimed at finding a solution that respects international law and guarantees the Sahrawi people’s right to self-determination.
For its part, the delegation of the Russian Federation expressed its admiration for the culture and resilience of the Sahrawi people, as well as for the social progress achieved by the Polisario Front in all fields during the building of the Sahrawi state despite the conditions of exile.
The Russian delegation includes a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, a deputy chairman of the Central Committee, official responsible for external relations and a member of the Central Audit and Control Commission, a surgeon and activist who heads the Moscow branch of the Russian Red Cross, as well as officials in charge of national popular organization and disaster response within the Moscow branch of the Russian Red Cross.
The delegation also includes bloggers, notably the president of the Russian Bloggers Union and an advisor to the executive committee of the New People Party (the fifth-largest political force in the Russian parliament), as well as the co-founder and creative director of the communications agency “Social Stars.”
