Auserd Wilaya, April 9, 2026 (SPS) – A significant French delegation, comprising more than ten figures from the solidarity movement with the Sahrawi people, is taking part in the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
This delegation is supported by the Association of Friends of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and includes local elected officials, representatives of political parties, as well as civil society actors from various regions of France, in a clear expression of the continuity and vitality of French commitment to the Sahrawi cause.
This participation carries special significance as it coincides with the 50th anniversary of the association’s founding, embodying half a century of continuous solidarity with the Sahrawi people and their legitimate struggle for self-determination and independence.
