Algiers, March 30, 2026 (SPS) – A delegation from the Sahrawi Republic, led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Affairs, Mohamed Yeslem Beissat, accompanied by member of the National Secretariat, Sahrawi Ambassador to Algeria, Khatri Addouh, took part in the funeral of the late Liamine Zeroual, the former Algerian president, for whom official and public funeral ceremonies were held in Batna Province.
The ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, along with a large number of senior officials, public figures, and citizens who came from various Algerian provinces.
The occasion gave the Sahrawi delegation the opportunity to meet several Algerian officials and personalities, to whom they expressed the condolences of the Sahrawi people and their deep sorrow over this great loss.
