Shahid El Hafed, 26 March 2026 (SPS) – The Sahrawi Red Crescent has revealed the worsening humanitarian situation in the wilaya of Dakhla, where dozens of families are facing extremely difficult conditions due to heavy rains that have led to rising water levels in the valley adjacent to the wilaya and the flow of torrents and floods.
According to the initial assessments, the Sahrawi Red Crescent announced in a statement, a copy of which was obtained by SPS, that 1,500 families have been affected either partially or completely. The regional hospital of the wilaya was also flooded and is now out of service.
