El Aaiun Wilaya, February 13, 2026 (SPS) – Mr. Mustapha Mohamed Fadel, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, together with the President of the Sahrawi Red Crescent, received on Wednesday in the wilaya of El Aaiun a delegation from supportive embassies and accredited international organizations.
The delegation conducted a two-day working visit to the Sahrawi refugee camps, which included visits to educational and vocational training institutions in the wilayas of Smara and El Aaiun.
The visit concluded with an evaluation meeting on the state of the Sahrawi education system, its achievements and existing challenges, identifying all concerns and working jointly to overcome them in the future through partnership, strengthening mechanisms of coordination and cooperation, and ensuring full alignment with the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, within the framework of the Education Coordination led by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
