Shaheed El Hafed, February 5, 2026 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, received the President of Algeria’s Future Front Party, Mr. Fateh Boutabiq, who is paying a visit to Sahrawi state institutions at the head of a delegation from his party.
During the meeting, President Brahim Ghali welcomed Mr. Fateh Boutabiq and the accompanying delegation, praising the honorable positions of the Future Front Party in support of the just Sahrawi cause.
President Brahim Ghali briefed Dr. Abdelaziz Belaid on the latest developments related to the Sahrawi issue, referring in particular to the most recent decision concerning the Sahrawi cause, Resolution 2797 (2025).
The President of the Republic commended Algeria’s principled and steadfast stance—government and people—toward the Sahrawi people and their just cause.
For his part, the President of the Future Front Party, Fateh Boutabiq, stated to the media following his meeting with President Brahim Ghali: “I was honored today to meet the President of the Sahrawi Republic and Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali. The discussion was cordial and frank, covering the overall issues facing the Sahrawi cause at the regional and international levels, in addition to matters of mutual interest.”
Fateh Boutabiq renewed his party’s unwavering position in support of the just Sahrawi cause, praising the sacrifices made by the Sahrawi people in their struggle to restore full sovereignty.
Fateh Boutabiq and the accompanying delegation, who attended the proceedings of the 4th Arab Conference in Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, were accorded a distinguished popular reception by the authorities and residents of Smara Wilaya, and conducted field visits to national facilities and institutions.
