SPLA targets Moroccan occupation bases in Guelta sector

Bir Lehlou (Liberated Territories), 25 January 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted Moroccan occupation bases and fortifications in the Guelta sector, inflicting heavy losses in lives and equipment.

A military communiqué issued today, Sunday, by the Ministry of National Defense stated that advanced units of the Sahrawi army carried out, on Sunday afternoon, a concentrated bombardment targeting enemy bases and entrenched positions in the areas of Rkeiz and Ltharathiyat in the Guelta sector.
