SPLA targets Moroccan occupation army positions in Mahbes sector

Bir Lahlou (Sahrawi Republic), January 23, 2026 (SPS) — Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted Moroccan occupation army positions, inflicting heavy losses in lives and material.

The military communiqué issued today, Friday, by the Ministry of National Defense stated that advanced units of our fighters carried out concentrated bombardments on Friday, targeting the headquarters of a corps belonging to the Moroccan occupation army in the Grarat El-Atassa area of the Mahbes sector. Positions and fortifications of the Moroccan occupation army in the Tanouchad area of the same sector were also targeted.
