SPLA targets Moroccan army support and backup base in Guelta sector

Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), 21 January 2026 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPS) targeted a support and backup base of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Guelta sector, causing heavy losses in lives and equipment.

According to the military communiqué issued today by the Ministry of National Defense, units of Sahrawi army carried out a concentrated bombardment on Wednesday morning, targeting a support and backup base belonging to the Moroccan occupation army in the Shrak Lghrab area of the Guelta sector.
