Brussels (Belgium), October 24, 2025 (SPS) – The Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, represented by the Director of Higher Education and the Director of Tifariti University, Mr. Moulay Mohamed Brahim, participated Friday in the 9th High-Level Policy Dialogue between the African Union (AU) and the European Union (EU) on Science, Technology, and Innovation, held in the Belgian capital, Brussels.
The meeting was attended by the AU Commissioner for Science, Technology, and Innovation; the Director-General of the Directorate for Research and Innovation at the European Commission; and representatives of numerous African and European countries.
Participants reviewed several reports on ways to strengthen the AU–EU partnership in the fields of innovation and technology, as well as presentations of successful cooperation programs between certain African and European institutions.
The meeting adopted two main recommendations: the promotion of scientific diplomacy and the optimal utilization of artificial intelligence, to be submitted to the ministerial meeting scheduled for the end of November.
The Director of Higher Education and the Director of Tifariti University was accompanied by Ambassador Alien Habib Kentawi, representing the Polisario Front in Europe and the European Union.
