Lisbon (Portugal), October 23, 2025 (SPS) - The Portuguese capital, Lisbon, is currently hosting awareness activities to inform the public about the Sahrawi cause and the just struggle of the Sahrawi people.
Organized by the Friendship Association with the Sahrawi People in cooperation with the Polisario Front representation in Portugal, and with distinguished participation from the Union of Students of Saguia el-Hamra and Río de Oro, the activities include lectures at Portuguese universities and meetings with youth organizations from Portuguese political parties and civil society. The aim is to raise awareness about the struggle of the Sahrawi people and their just cause for freedom and independence.
This tour, which will continue until the October 27th, is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international solidarity with the struggle of the Sahrawi people, inform about the latest developments in the occupied territories and the refugee camps, and highlight the role of Sahrawi youth and students in the path of struggle and liberation efforts.
