La Paz (Bolivia), 08 October 2025 (SPS) – The President of the Senate of Bolivia, Mr. Andrónico Rodríguez, has reiterated the Senate’s support for the Sahrawi people and their just cause.
This came during a meeting with the Sahrawi Ambassador accredited in La Paz, Mr. Ahmetou Mohamed Ahmed, where the Senate President expressed his deep solidarity with the Sahrawi cause, both personally and institutionally, affirming his full support for the Sahrawi people’s struggle for self-determination and independence.
For his part, the Sahrawi Ambassador expressed the sincere gratitude of the Sahrawi State for this support, considering it an important step in strengthening relations between Sahrawi and Bolivian institutions.
Both sides stressed the importance of mutual support and the strengthening of ties of friendship in the service of the two brotherly peoples and nations.
