Shaheed El Hafed, September 12, 2025 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Constitutional Council has officially joined the World Conference on Constitutional Justice (WCCJ).
This accession reflects the advanced status of the Sahrawi Constitutional Council in the international judicial landscape and reaffirms its commitment to supporting the principles of good governance and constitutional rights.
It is worth noting that the Sahrawi Constitutional Council is a founding member of the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of Africa (CJCA) and a founding member of the African Chief Justices’ Alternative Dispute Resolution Forum (ACJADRF), enhancing its active presence at both the continental and international levels.
WCCJ is an international network comprising constitutional courts and councils from various countries around the world, aimed at promoting cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the areas of constitutional review and the protection of constitutional supremacy.
