Shaheed El-Hafed, August 30, 2025 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, presided over a ceremony today, Saturday, at the Presidency of the Republic, honoring outstanding students who passed the Baccalaureate, Middle School, and Primary Education certificates (June 2025 session). The event was attended by several members of the National Secretariat and the Government, in addition to the parents of the honored students.
On this occasion, the President of the Republic congratulated, in a speech, all Sahrawi students who succeeded in obtaining the Baccalaureate certificate in their various locations, demonstrating their excellence and scientific capabilities through this achieved success.
In this context, outstanding students in the Baccalaureate, Middle School, and Primary Education certificates were honored at the national level, in the national communities abroad, in recognition of the efforts they made and the achievement they accomplished, and to encourage them to move forward in their fields of specialization and deepen their knowledge.
For his part, the Member of the National Secretariat, Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Mr. Abdulkader Taleb Omar, thanked, in a speech, the educational system for establishing solid foundations towards acquiring science and knowledge. He highlighted the historical role of Sahrawi students in the national struggle and the preparation of generations, while also recalling the repression and persecution their comrades face in the occupied territories of Western Sahara .
