Shaheed El Hafed, July 28, 2025 (SPS) – The Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front held a meeting today, Monday, to discuss key issues related to national affairs across various fronts.
The meeting, chaired by the Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, President of the Republic, Mr. Brahim Ghali, focused on several points, including an assessment of the dissemination process of the outcomes of the 7th Ordinary Session of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, as well as important upcoming milestones. These include the 50th anniversary of National Unity Day, the 50th anniversary of the founding of the National Council, the summer program and the Summer University for executives of the Sahrawi State, the International Youth Forum in Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, and preparations for the 2025/2026 social season.
The meeting noted the success of the campaign to disseminate the outcomes of the National Secretariat’s session, highlighting the comprehensive and in-depth discussions that took place in an atmosphere of responsiveness and readiness among the masses of our people to ensure the success of the planned programs and commitments.
The meeting also emphasized the significance of commemorating the 50th anniversary of National Unity Day, given its pivotal role in our people’s existential struggle for freedom and independence. It called on the masses of our people in all locations to recall the historic moment of its declaration—a time when colonial and reactionary forces conspired to crush the Sahrawi national liberation project. That historic event dealt a decisive blow to the plots aimed at dividing our people, plundering their resources, and denying their right to exist.
