Abuja (Nigeria), June 16, 2025 (SPS) – Mr. Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, received at his ministry’s headquarters Mr. Mohamed Yeslem Beissat, Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Affairs of the Sahrawi Republic.
The two officials held bilateral talks focusing on the relations between the two brotherly nations, key African issues, and upcoming milestones in African cooperation.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the strong historical bilateral ties between the two countries.
The Sahrawi minister conveyed special fraternal greetings from President Brahim Ghali to his brother and counterpart, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The meeting was attended on the Sahrawi side by the Sahrawi Republic’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Brahim Salem Bousseif, and on the Nigerian side by several senior officials and advisors from the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
