Shaheed El Hafed, May 1, 2025 (SPS) – The National Union of Sahrawi Women (NUSW) congratulated Sahrawi women across all fields of action and struggle on the occasion of International Workers' Day, observed on May 1.
In a statement, the Union emphasized that Sahrawi women have been a symbol of resistance and resilience, consistently proving themselves at the forefront of nation-building and liberation.
It praised their heroic role in various sectors—whether in education, healthcare, social work, or on the frontlines of struggle and resistance against the brutal Moroccan occupation—embodying the highest ideals of sacrifice and steadfastness for freedom and national independence.
The Union renewed its tribute to Sahrawi women for their perseverance and continued dedication to the battle for construction and liberation.
