Aragon (Spain), April 09 2025 (SPS) –Representative of the Polisario Front in Aragon, Omar Jouli, Deputy received Wednesday a new book on the Sahrawi cause. Titled Surviving in Western Sahara (Sobrevivir En El Sahara Occidental), the book was sponsored by the non-governmental Association for Humanitarian Cooperation and Development Al-Tifariti and coordinated by Mr. Vicente Ubalde.
The book explores various aspects of the resilience and struggle of the Sahrawi people despite the hardships of exile and occupation. It serves as a genuine contribution, drawing from firsthand experiences of the Sahrawi people in refugee camps and liberated territories. The Association for Humanitarian Cooperation and Development has closely observed the Sahrawis' way of life and their suffering in different aspects of daily living. Through funding various projects in the refugee camps, the Association has helped alleviate some of their hardships.
The book and its contents stand as a model of solidarity and cooperation between the Spanish Association and the Sahrawi people, a partnership that has lasted over 20 years.
