Wilaya of Smara, January 26, 2025 (SPS) - Member of the National Secretariat, Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Mr. Khatri Adouh, presided over the commemoration of the International Day of Education at the Martyr Abda Mohammed Middle School in the wilaya of Smara.
In his speech on this occasion, the Minister expressed appreciation and pride for the efforts of those in the educational system who are dedicated to enhancing the educational framework and building generations that will carry the nation's future. He affirmed that "education is one of the most important means of building and advancing nations."
Mr. Khatri Adouh emphasized the Sahrawi state's belief in the necessity of promoting education as an integral part of developing the Sahrawi individual, which is a top priority for both the state and the Front.
The Minister stressed the need for real investment in education, as it is the safe haven for building a strong future, a better society, and a more advanced country.
It is worth noting that the International Day of Education is celebrated on January 24 each year, as recognized by the United Nations, to highlight the role of education in achieving development and peace as a fundamental human right.
