Tindouf (Algeria), December 22, 2024 (SPS) - Swedish activists Benjamin Ladria and Sana Qatbi, who support the Sahrawi cause, arrived last night in Tindouf as part of their solidarity journey with the Sahrawi people by bicycle.
They were welcomed at the entrance of Tindouf by civil society organizations, citizens, and a group of youth.
In a statement to the press, Sana Qatbi expressed her "happiness at arriving in Tindouf, which hosts the Sahrawi refugee camps, marking the last stop before her anticipated visit early next year with her colleagues to the refugee camps, aimed at raising awareness of the Sahrawi issue."
She emphasized that her participation in this solidarity effort makes her "proud to advocate for the last colony in Africa."
For his part, Benjamin Ladria said, "These events we organized in several countries during this bicycle journey have allowed us to highlight the suffering of the Sahrawi people and reveal many of the repressive practices they endure in defense of their just cause."
