Shaheed El-Hafed, December 1, 2024 (SPS) - The Ministry of Economic and Financial Affairs has launched the first edition of the Innovation Forum under the slogan "Innovation in Service of Sahrawi Refugees."
The forum was inaugurated by Minister of Economic and Financial Affairs Mohamed Fadel Mohamed Moloud, who emphasized in his opening speech that the forum aims to gather innovative ideas and solutions to improve the living conditions of Sahrawi refugees, present them to the community, connect them, and assist in their development within the framework of creating an interactive, committed, and supportive economy.
The forum also seeks to engage with Sahrawi innovators, introduce their ideas and aspirations, and unify efforts between public institutions and innovative groups to enhance the application of creative ideas in improving management and production. It aims to consolidate the efforts of collaborators and partners in this field and elevate its importance in national interests.
The Minister noted that there are partner entities for the Ministry of Economic and Financial Affairs, including the economic ministries in the Sahrawi government, such as the Ministry of Cooperation, the Sahrawi Red Crescent, the Ministry of Economic Development, and the Ministry of Trade.
