Algerian Foreign Minister discusses situation in Western Sahara with UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs

Algiers, October 2, 2024 (SPS) - The Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks in New York with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, Ms. Rosemary DiCarlo, indicated a statement of the Algerian Foreign Ministry reported by APS.

The meeting, according to the statement, allowed for the exchange of views on international peace and security issues on the agenda of the UN Security Council, particularly the issue of Western Sahara, the crisis in Libya, as well as the situation in the Sahel region.
