Pretoria (South Africa), August 06, 2024 (SPS) - The African National Congress (ANC) renewed its historical, strong and permanent support for the struggle of the Sahrawi and Palestinian peoples for self-determination.
The South African political party stated, in a statement that concluded the first meeting of its National Executive Committee, that after an evaluation meeting of the results of the elections in South Africa, "the National Executive Committee of the African National Congress reaffirms its historical and continuous support for the inalienable right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination."
The venerable African party condemned the crimes committed by the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian people.
The Executive Committee said in its statement: "We affirm our support for the struggle of the Palestinian people for self-determination and we take action in the International Court of Justice against the Zionist entity's genocide of the people of Gaza."
