Sahrawi people are determined to continue struggle against Moroccan occupation until achieving independence

Algiers, July 24, 2024 (SPS) - The Sahrawi ambassador to Algeria, Member of the National Secretariat Abdelkader Taleb Omar, stressed that the Sahrawi people are determined to continue the struggle against the Moroccan occupation until independence is achieved and sovereignty is completed over all the territory of the Sahrawi Republic, praising Algeria's role in defending just causes in Africa and the world in various international forums.

The Sahrawi ambassador said during a symposium organized by the Algerian National Institute for Comprehensive Strategic Studies, in partnership with the Sahrawi Institute for Strategic Studies, that "Algeria's role is great and well-known, not only in defending the Sahrawi cause, but also in defending all just causes in Africa and the world from all platforms, such as the UN Security Council and all international forums."

Regarding the steadfastness and struggle of the Sahrawi people, the Sahrawi diplomat stressed that the Sahrawis are determined to continue their struggle against the Moroccan occupation until sovereignty is extended over all the territories of the Sahrawi Republic.

For his part, President of the Summer University of the Polisario Front and the Sahrawi State Cadres, Mr. Amrabeh El Mami El-Day, addressed the most important topics, lectures and discussions included in this event in its new edition, pointing out that the most important topics of the Summer University were based on lessons learned from the glorious November Revolution of Algeria.

In his intervention, the Coordinator of the Sahrawi National Committee for Human Rights in Europe, Hassan Ameilid Ali Hassan, stopped at the most important historical stations that the Sahrawi resistance went through. He also addressed the heinous crimes committed by the Moroccan occupation against the Sahrawi people in the occupied territories, including forced disappearance, killing, displacement and political detention, in addition to the demolition of homes and the seizure of lands, in complete violation of international law and international conventions.

The symposium also included interventions on new techniques of communication and war media, in addition to modern technological means in confronting the enemy.

It is noteworthy that this symposium, which was attended by Algerian and Sahrawi experts, as part of a series of scientific symposium organized by the Algerian National Institute for Comprehensive Strategic Studies, came to stand on the most important recent data and developments in the Sahrawi issue at various political, military, economic and diplomatic levels.
