Bourmedes (Algeria), July 14, 2024 (SPS) - In a speech delivered during the opening of the Summer University for Sahrawi Executives, read on his behalf by his deputy Mr. Mohamed Redha Ousahla, Mr. Salah Goudjil, the President of the People's National Assembly, reiterated Algeria's steadfast, constant and unconditional support for the struggle of the Sahrawi people and their rights enshrined in the United Nations charters and the African Union Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights.
The President of the Algerian People's National Assembly stressed that the justice of the Sahrawi cause requires all the free people of the world to support and back it until victory and independence.
The President of the Algerian People's National Assembly also noted that Algeria, under the guidance and supervision of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has set for its term as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, the continuation of its path towards preserving international peace and security and enhancing the role of the United Nations so that it can fulfill its historical, moral and legal responsibilities towards the Sahrawi and Palestinian peoples.
