Ethiopia, June 25, 2024 (SPS) – The Sahrawi Republic participates in the work of the Permanent Representatives Committee of the African Union which kicked off in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, in its 48th session.
The 48th ordinary session will discuss many issues related to the African continent, especially those related to the activities of the sub-committees of the Permanent Representatives, which will take up a large part of the deliberations due to their importance and close connection to the development of joint African action as well as improving the structures of the African system.
A schedule of continuous meetings of the Permanent Representatives has been set to come up with conclusions and findings for the submitted reports, including the report of the joint session of the Sub-Committee for Coordination and General Supervision of the Budget, Financial and Administrative Affairs and the technical experts of the Committee of Fifteen Finance Ministers.
The Sahrawi Republic is represented in the 48th Ordinary Session of the Permanent Representatives Committee of the African Union by the Ambassador to Ethiopia, Permanent Representative to the African Union, Mr. Laman Abaali.
