Bir Lehlu (Liberated Territories) , 29 April 2024 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) have continued to target diverse military sites of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbes and Farsia sectors, inflicting heavy losses in terms of lives and equipment among the occupying army.
A military statement issued by the Central Directorate of the Political Affairs of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army stated that advanced detachments of the Sahrawi army carried out diverse shelling operations targeting several positions and sectors of the Moroccan sand wall (the Wall of Shame), as well as Moroccan bases, support points, and command centers.
The statement added that the forces of the Sahrawi army targeted three Moroccan bases in the Mahbes and Farsia sectors. This included a Moroccan base in the Akarara Al-Fersik area, in addition to targeting a Moroccan base in the Rus Sabti area in the Mahbes sector, and shelling another Moroccan base in the Rus Al-Fayiin area in the Farsia sector.
The operations of the Sahrawi army continue, targeting all Moroccan bases along the length of the sand wall (the Wall of Shame), in light of the failure of the occupation's technology and defense system to repel the attacks of the Sahrawi army.
