Shahid El Hafed, April 01, 2024 (SPS) - The Minister of Public Health, Mr. Saleck Baba Hassena, received yesterday, Sunday, the Director of Vaccination at the Algerian Ministry of Health, Dr. El Aid Youssef.
The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between the two ministries in many common health topics, most notably the field of vaccination, training, development of health programs and their comprehensiveness.
The meeting also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation relations in the health field between the two ministries, as well as reviewing the most prominent challenges facing the field of vaccination, the cold chain, and coordinating mechanisms for the supply and provision of vaccines.
The meeting was attended by the Director of Cooperation at the Ministry, Mr. Antada Hamdi, and Dr. Tariq Hajuj, in charge of health programs at UNICEF.
