Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), March 20, 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, congratulated his counterpart, Mr. Vladimir Putin, on the occasion of his re-election as President of the Russian Federation.
President Brahim Ghali extended to his Russian counterpart, on behalf of the people and government of the Sahrawi Republic and the leadership of the Polisario Front, his warmest congratulations and sincere wishes, wishing him and the friendly Russian people further progress and prosperity.
The President of the Republic added, "We count on the pivotal role played by your country at the level of the UN Security Council and on the international arena in general, in order to accelerate the implementation of the relevant United Nations Charter and resolutions, especially completing decolonization and enabling our people to exercise their legitimate, inalienable right to self-determination and independence”.
