Bir Lehlu (Liberated Territories), 10 February 2024 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted trenches and positions of the Moroccan occupation soldiers in the Mahbes sector, resulting in "substantial losses in lives and equipment," indicated a statement of the Central Directorate of the Political Governorate of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army.
The military statement issued on Friday stated that within the framework of the liberation war and the continued struggle of the fighters of the Sahrawi Army, advanced units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army carried out a morning bombardment targeting an enemy Moroccan base in the Aakad Arkan area of the Mahbes sector. Trenches of the occupation army in the Akwira Weld Aballal area of the same sector were also targeted.
The attacks by the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army continue to target the strongholds of the Moroccan occupation forces, which have suffered significant losses in lives and equipment along the Wall of Shame and Humiliation, the same source added.
