Shaheed Hafed, 29 January, 2024 (WAS) - The Council of Ministers emphasized the necessity of harmonizing government work for the current year with the developments on the military front, characterized by direct confrontation with the Moroccan occupation.
In a statement issued after its meeting on Sunday evening under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, the Council of Ministers stressed the necessity of harmonizing government work with the developments on the military front and working to align all programs and plans according to the stakes and challenges of the frontlines, and the obligation of all national institutions to stand behind the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army.
In the same context, the Council of Ministers reviewed the different political situations at the regional and international levels, and the repercussions of all developments and various regional and global complexities on the national issue.
The statement added that the Council of Ministers extensively discussed the main challenges and the prominent features of the current stage witnessed by the national issue, a stage characterized by the resumption of armed struggle and the heroic work carried out by the fighters of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army on the front lines.
On this occasion, the Council of Ministers commended the fighters of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army for their bravery on the battlefronts and their self-sacrifice in the struggle for the liberation of the homeland.
