Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), 19 January 2023 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted Moroccan occupation forces' positions in the Mahbes sector, causing significant losses in lives and equipment, according to the SPLA's Central Directorate of the Political Administration in its military statement today, Friday.
The military statement said that "in the framework of the liberation war and in continuation of the combat work of the SPLA fighters, advanced detachments carried out a concentrated bombardment targeting the positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Rous Lahtiba area in the Mahbes sector."
Earlier, units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army had targeted a special base belonging to the intervention forces of the Moroccan occupation army in the Skikima area of the Mahbes sector, resulting in casualties and equipment losses.
