Occupied Aaiún, Dec 21, 2021 (SPS) - The Moroccan occupation authorities have deprived the Saharawi political prisoner Abdalla Luali Lejfauni of his right to communicate with the outside of the prison, confiscating all letters and communications that he has sent to international human rights organizations and associations that defend the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination.

Algiers, Dec 19 2021 (SPS) - The international film festival of Western Sahara "FiSahara" attributed Saturday, in Madrid, the Sahrawi nationality to Spanish actress and activist for Western Sahara cause Pilar Bardem, at an honorary edition of the festival dedicated to her, the event's organizers said.
Passed away last July, Pilar Bardem is known to have embraced the Sahrawi cause and her support to Western Sahara people's right to self-determination and their liberation from Moroccan colonization.

Algiers, Dec 18 2021 (SPS) - Morocco uses a real "media machine" against the Sahrawis, said Mohamed Salem Ahmed Laabeid, director of the Sahrawi television RASD TV, who said that this same "machine" is supported by foreign media.
"Morocco uses a real media machine, including TV channels, radio stations, newspapers and websites. It is supported by foreign media in different countries," said Mohamed Salem Ahmed Laabeid to APS.
This situation "pushes us to implement a new media policy," he said.

Chahid El-Hafed, Dec 15, 2021 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Ministry of Public Health announced the weekly situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic in the Sahrawi Refugee Camps.
According to data provided by the National Commission for the Prevention of COVID-19, this week ten (10) new cases of COVID-19 have been registered, sixteen (16) have fully recovered and two (2) deceased cases.
