Shaheed EL-Hafed (Refugee Camps), 12 Oct 2015 (SPS) – The Sahrawi people celebrates Monday the 40th anniversary of the National Unity Day, 12 October 1975 in Ain-Bentili.
On this occasion, the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente Polisario, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, supervised today the official events commemorating this in the liberated town of Bir-Lehlou, where he delivered a speech and recounted the significance and implications of this event and the gains achieved by the Sahrawi people as a whole.
The event was also celebrated in the refugee camps, the neighborhoods, municipalities, Wilayas, national institutions, occupied territories and community abroad, started commemorating this day on first October. It was culminated Saturday by celebrations hosted by the Wilaya of Boujdour, marked by military and folkloric parades and official speeches, as well as the organization of salon on handicrafts, salon on books, traditional competitions, sports, plays and evening concerts.
