Sahrawi activist, Sultana Khaya calls on international community to intervene

Algiers, 9 January 2022 (SPS) - The Sahrawi human rights activist, Sultana Khaya, called Sunday on the international community to intervene to help her face the 461-day siege imposed by the Moroccan occupation authorities at her home in the occupied city of Boujdour.

Sultana Khaya said in a statement to APS that "she and her family are under strict police surveillance and are not allowed to go out and visit their families.

Sahrawi civilian prisoner on warning hunger strike in Morocco

Kenitra (Morocco), 8 January 2022 (SPS) - Sahrawi civilian prisoner, Abdallah Wali Ahmed Khafouni, within the Agdim Izik group, who is in the Kenitra Central Prison, north of the Moroccan capital, Rabat, embarked Thursday on a 48-hour hunger strike, according to a Sahrawi human rights source.
