Mauritanian parties review with Sahrawi delegation developments of Sahrawi issue

Nouakchott, 2 October 2022 (SPS) - Mauritanian political parties received last week a delegation from the Sahrawi Republic with whom they reviewed the latest developments in the Sahrawi issue and bilateral relations between Mauritanian political parties and the Polisario Front.
The president of the Mauritanian party Union of Progressive Forces (UFP), Mohamed Ould Mouloud received, Friday at the party headquarters in Nouakchott, a Sahrawi delegation led by the Minister of Interior, member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Mansour Omar.
The hearing, which took place in the presence of the Secretary General, and the member of the Central Committee of the party, respectively Mamadou Diop and Mohamedou Naji, focused on the latest developments of the Sahrawi issue and ways to promote relations between the UFP and the Polisario Front.
The Sahrawi delegation was also received by the vice-presidents of the Mauritanian party National Rally for Reform and Development, Lahbib Ould Hamdit, Yahia Ould Boubekeur.
The meeting focused on bilateral relations between the Mauritanian political party and the Polisario Front, and many regional and international issues of common interest.
