Namibia declares support for Western Sahara at the United Nations General Assembly

New York (United Nations) 22 September 2022 (SPS)- The President of the Republic of Namibia declared support of his country for the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination, stressing that the delay in implementing UN resolutions to settle the question of Western Sahara is an embarrassment to the forehead of the international community.
Addressing the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, President Hage Geingob, in his speech, described the lack of action and the continuation of the conflict in Western Sahara as a collective shame. (SPS)
