CODESA presents its 2020-2021 Hrs report in the occupied Western Sahara

Occupied Aaiun, 02, August 2022 (SPS) - The Collective of Human Rights Defenders in Western Sahara (CODESA), a non-governmental organization that operates in the occupied zones of Western Sahara, held a press conference last Thursday, in the presence of national media and human rights activists, to present its 2020-2021 report on the situation of rights in the occupied areas of Western Sahara.
At the press conference, held at the house of the activist Ali Salem Tamek, CODESA presented its report under the title "The continuation of war crimes and crimes against humanity perpetrated by the Moroccan occupation forces against Saharawi civilians: the future of the decolonization of occupied Western Sahara?”, taking into account international law as a reference for the work of the NGO, which has carried out a process of control and monitoring of the situation, in order to draw attention to the crimes of war and crimes against humanity perpetrated by the Moroccan occupation forces against Saharawi civilians in the occupied Western Sahara, crimes that have intensified since the violation of the ceasefire by Morocco on November 13, 2020.SPS
