Birlahlou (liberated territories), 2 May 2022 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, said that the state of the Moroccan occupier "continues its abuses and its policy of repression against Sahrawi civilians since the resumption of the armed struggle," stressing that the Sahrawi people "is determined to continue its struggle for the recovery of its sovereignty over all its territories.
In a message addressed to the Sahrawi political prisoners of the Gdeim Izik group and to all detainees and activists including the activist Sultana Khaya, the Sahrawi president stressed that the Sahrawi people celebrates the Aid El Fitr in an exceptional context especially after the resumption of the armed struggle since November 13, 2020, where the Moroccan occupier "continues its abuses and its policy of repression against defenseless civilians.
The continued suffering of the activist Sultana Khaya and her family "testify to this hostile policy aimed at imposing a fait accompli, breaking the will of the Sahrawis and silencing their voice to sow terror within their ranks," said Ghali.
President Ghali also evoked the epic of Gdeim Izik, "an example of heroism and defiance of the Sahrawi people in the occupied territories and southern Morocco.
"All these facts are an inseparable part of the struggle of the Sahrawi people wherever they are, supported by a national momentum in favor of the field action of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army," he said.
"Through this global and ongoing struggle, the Sahrawi people continues with determination and resilience its just struggle and resistance by remaining mobilized around the principles and objectives of its one and only representative, the Polisario Front until the recovery of the sovereignty of its state over all its territories," he added.
