The National Assembly approves the 2022 government's program

Chahid Al-Hafed, February 02, 2022 (SPS) - The members of the National Assembly approved yesterday, by absolute majority, the government’s program for the year 2022 by a show of hands at the headquarters of the National Assembly, in an open session chaired by the member of the National Secretariat, President of the National Assembly, Mr. Hama Salama, and in the presence of the member of the National Secretariat Prime Minister Mr. Bushraya Hamoudi Payon and members of the government.

The approval of the government program comes after the completion of the general discussion of the draft government program, as the law provides for allocating a session or continuous sessions to vote on the draft government program, and voting should be done on each field separately, then on the whole program by an absolute majority of the members of the National Assembly.

The Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of Relations with Parliament, Mr. Fadali Ali Bouya, presented the drafts of the ministries’ programs before the members of the National Council after they were adapted and modified during the meetings of the committees with the relevant government sectors, and public sessions.
