Morocco refuses to recognize its military failure, targets civilians

Bir Lahlou, Nov 18, 2021 (SPS) - Morocco refuses to recognize its military failure in the face of the bombing of the Saharawi army, and attacks civilians, said the Advisor to the President of the Republic for business politicians, El Bachir Moustafa Sayed.
In a statement to the APS, El Bachir said that the Moroccan occupation now targets Sahrawi civilians or Algerian traders who cross the liberated territories into Mauritania, in addition to Mauritanian gold miners, and this by using various weapons, including Israeli drones.
This expansionist spirit of Morocco, haunted by the Saharawi Army, reflects the terror that inhabits the occupying forces after its bitter failure during a year of war, not to mention the considerable human and material losses, added the adviser.
Dozens of crimes against humanity have been perpetrated by the Moroccan occupier since the resumption of the armed struggle on November 13, 2020, he recalled, stressing that the UN Security Council has not deployed any of its bodies empowered to protect civilians in a territory awaiting decolonization (under the responsibility of the UN).
These crimes committed by the Moroccan occupation forces are a flagrant violation of international legality and aim to exterminate all Sahrawis. SPS
