Wilaya of Dakhla, Oct 13, 2021 (SPS) - The president of the Federation of Institutions for Solidarity with Western Sahara (Fedissah), Carmelo Ramirez, said Tuesday at the Dakhla camp in Saharawi refugees that the United Nations must ensure respect for the individual and collective rights of the Saharawi people.
He called on the United Nations to ensure that these rights are respected, in accordance with international charters, and to organize a free and fair referendum as soon as possible, which guarantees the Saharawi people their right to self-determination and independence.
Speaking to the APS on the sidelines of the celebration of the 46th anniversary of Saharawi National Unity, Mr. Ramirez expressed his "deep solidarity with the Saharawi people in their struggle for the recovery of their right to self-determination ''.SPS
