Sahrawi political prisoner, Aziz Embarek, faces humiliation and harassment in precarious conditions

Occupied El Aaiún, June 22, 2021 (SPS) - The prison authorities of the Moroccan city of Marrakech proceeded last Friday,  to inspect in a humiliating and discriminatory way the cell of the Saharawi political prisoner Aziz Embarek Al-Wahidi, who is confined in precarious conditions, serving a ten-year sentence for his activism in the ranks of the Sahrawi students who demande the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination.
Speaking to the League for the Protection of Sahrawi Prisoners in Moroccan Prisons, the family of Sahrawi political prisoner Aziz Embarek expressed its condemnation of the discriminatory treatment of his son, who was deposed of his clothes and subjected to humiliating harassment on the sensitive parts of your body.
According to the same sources, the harassment of the Saharawi political prisoner did not end there, but continued to include his personal belongings, which were scattered and then transferred to a cell packed with common prisoners and without the minimum conditions of decent accommodation. SPS
