SADR takes part at AU meetings on continental trade and merchandise exchange

Accra (Ghana), April 29, 2021 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SPSD) took part these days in consultative meetings organized by the African Union (AU), in collaboration with the Specialized Committee on Trade, in order to draw up a continental roadmap for the exchange of goods and products between the countries of the continent.
At these meetings, which began on April 26 and will continue until May 1, 2021, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area (ZLCCAf), SADR is represented by Mr. Hamad Ali , Counselor of the embassy in Accra, and will be concluded with a meeting at the level of trade ministers of the AU.
The meetings will also adopt resolutions related to the design of the roadmap to accelerate the exchange of goods and products between the states part of the ZLCCAf, a continental initiative of which the SADR is a founder and which was established in March 2018 during the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the AU held in Kigali, capital of Rwanda.
