Budapest (Hungary), Feb 09, 2021 (SPS) - The World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY) denounced the murder of the young Saharawi Mohamed Salem Isamel Lefkir Fahim, whose body was found by the family in hiding by the Moroccan occupation authorities for more than two weeks in the morgue of the hospital in the occupied city of El Aaiún, in Western Sahara.
In a press release made public this Monday, the said Youth NGO expressed its solidarity with the family and friends of the late Mohamed Salem Fahim, as well as with all the victims of the Moroccan occupation authorities.
“WFDY condemns the complicity and negligence of all those who are contributing to the normalization of the occupation; those who continue to cover up the crimes of the Moroccan occupation, as well as those who continue to deny and obstruct the exercise of the Saharawi people of their right to self-determination, in total violation of the relevant resolutions of the UN and the AU, as well as against the principles of international legality ", concludes the statement.
