SPLA continues its attacks against positions of Moroccan occupation army for 52nd consecutive day

Bir Lahlou, 4 January 2021 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) continued their attacks on bases and positions of the Moroccan occupation army along the wall of shame, for the 52nd consecutive day, said Sunday a communiqué of the Sahrawi Defense Ministry.
The Sahrawi Defence Ministry stressed in its communiqué No. 52 that "advanced SPLA units carried out heavy shelling on Saturday targeting Moroccan positions in the Guelb d'Azim area of the Techla sector" and a shelling that targeted enemy bases in the Ross Bin Zakka area of the Hawza sector."
The same source added that the Sahrawi military carried out a shelling targeting the positions of the occupying army in the Anqab Ghazala area of Smara, and in Um Adrika.
On Sunday, the Sahrawi Defence Ministry reported that "another shelling targeted the bases of the Moroccan occupier in the area of Umm Al-Dukan, al-Bakary sector, twice in a row", and "heavy shelling targeted the occupying forces in the area of Al-Shizmiya, al-Mahbas sector".
"Violent shelling targeted Moroccan occupying forces in the Sabkhat al-Akrish area of Smara," the source added.
The Sahrawi Ministry of Defence underlined that "the attacks of the Saharawi People’s Liberation Army fighters continued to target the sites of the occupation soldiers, who suffered more loss of personnel and equipment along the wall of shame". (SPS)
