Submitted on

Algiers, May 21, 2019 (SPS) - Sahrawi ambassador to Algiers Abdelkader Taleb Omar said Monday that the anniversary of the armed struggle outbreak mark 46 years of the Sahrawi people’s resistance, who refuse that their rights are alienated and accept no further alternative but the right to self-determination.
In an interview to APS, on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the Sahrawi armed struggle outbreak, Taleb Omar said that "the Sahrawi people continue to resist and no one can force them or deprive them from their rights."
The Sahrawi people would not accept a solution other than a referendum of self-determination to win freedom and independence, he said.
The Moroccan occupier's attempts to divide the Sahrawis and begin their determination were all doomed to failure, said the Sahrawi diplomat, stressing the attachment of the Sahrawi people in the occupied territories, in the refugee camps and those residing abroad, to their only and legitimate representative, the Frente POLISARIO."
