Ministry of Foreign Affairs organizes a conference on human rights

Chahid El Hafed, Dec 25, 2018 (SPS) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized, on Monday with the collaboration of the Ministry of the Occupied Territories, a conference on human rights, international law and humanitarian law, in the presence of members of the National Secretariat, government, the diplomatic corps and some interested organizations and associations.
The session was held under the supervision of a member of the National Secretariat and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohammed Salem Uld Salek, together with the Minister of Occupied Territories and the Saharawi Community Abroad, Mr. Bachir Mustapha Sayed.
In the opening speech of this event, the head of the Secretariat of the Political Organization of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr. Hama Salama, affirmed that the question of Western Sahara is a human rights issue in the first place, praising in this context the achievements made in this field, especially the attachment of the Sahrawis to their legitimate and unique representative, the the Frente POLISARIO as a national political framework that defends the legitimate rights of the Saharawi people.
