President, Brahim Gali, congratulates his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta

Bir Lehlu (Liberated Territories), Dec 11, 2018 (SPS) - The President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Brahim Gali, sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, on the occasion of the National Day of the African brother country.
"On behalf of the Saharawi people, the government and my own, I take this opportunity to express the warmest congratulations to the government and people of Kenya for the national day of the sister republic," says the letter sent by the Saharawi leader.
"I am fully convinced that the relations of friendship and brotherhood between the Republic of Kenya and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic will be strengthened for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples." Highlighting also "the firm support of Kenya to the rights of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence," adds the Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO
The Republic of Kenya gained its independence from British colonialism on December 12, 1963, after a fierce resistance led by the Mau Mau liberation movement.
At present, the Saharawi State and the Republic of Kenya maintain relations at the highest level, with accredited ambassadors.SPS
