President Brahim Gali meets today with Cuban President, Díaz-Canel

Havana, Dec 4, 2018 (SPS) - The president of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Brahim Gali, who is on an official visit to Cuba, will hold a dialogue today with the head of state of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel.
On the agenda of the visit is also planned a tribute to the National Hero of Cuba, José Martí, in the memorial that bears the name of the Cuban independence hero.
Gali arrived in Cuba on Sunday night and will extend his official visit until Wednesday morning.
The president is accompanied by a delegation composed of Mansur Omar, Delegate Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Latin America, Malainin Tgana Saharawi Ambassador in Cuba and Abdati Breika, Councilor of the Presidency.
Cuba and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic established diplomatic relations in January 1980, and currently their main areas of collaboration are health and education where thousands of young Saharawi people are trained in Cuba as professionals from the most diverse areas. SPS
